The corner
A cafe is one of the last places on a high street where somebody still knows your order.
Brian went from sitting on the council to standing behind this counter, and he treats the corner as the same job by other means: something useful, done properly, for the people who live within walking distance of it.
The food is made by his wife, one order at a time, with the care that takes.
